Quality Assurance

At Tampa Bay Fisheries we consistently deliver superior service and delicious seafood products to our customers. Our onsite research and development team can assist you with customizing recipes, flavor profiles and innovative menu concepts for your end users.

 
  • Tampa Bay Fisheries has a product to fit any retail or foodservice program.
  • All plants are HACCP approved.
  • TBF's U.S. plant is under the voluntary inspection of the United States Department of Commerce (U.S.D.C.)
  • TBF's U.S. plant has several third party audits such as NSF Cook and Thurber and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) via the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP).
  • All foreign plants receive annual audits by TBF's personnel and also annual third party audits.
  • All aquaculture raw materials must pass antibiotic testing.
  • TBF monitors all daily foreign and U.S. production QA reports on sanitation, GMPs, microbiological and drug testing, raw material and finished goods.
  • All finished goods and raw materials have full traceability.
